Marc Grümmert engaged in his current work with mutated imagery. His images hold no objective, they contain only what we are able to see. The more they lose their concrete statement the more free we are in their interpretations. Thus we are able to discover our own world in the pictures.

zone B participates in the presentation "ART FROM BERLIN" at the Contemporary Istanbul 2010.

The fifth edition of Contemporary Istanbul will take place from 25th to 28th November 2010. As the most extensive "modern and contemporary art" event in Turkey, Contemporary Istanbul aims to promote the cultural and artistic life of Turkey. 

For four days, Contemporary Istanbul is hosting national and international galleries, artists from all over the world, collectors, museum directors, curators, art critics, members of press and art lovers at Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Center (ICEC). And in addition to the main event, Contemporary Istanbul is organizing through the year several side events and art projects such as conferences, exhibitions with the aim of contributing to the country's contemporary art development.

For the second time, nine Berlin galleries present selected contemporary facets of the Berlin art scene at SCOPE Basel 2010. Their collective presentation, ART FROM BERLIN, is accompanied by a BERLIN LOUNGE where information about the city’s position as a centre for the arts is available. In a nod to Berlin’s extraordinary club scene, there is also a complementary slew of music events offered in cooperation with WEEKEND Club Berlin and featuring a line-up of local DJs.

The SCOPE is in the courtyard of the barracks Basel, Klybeckstr. 1 b, CH-4057, about 10 minutes instead of the ART Basel.
