The first art bag from gallery zone B - A wonderful surprise

This year there is a real surprise: The multiple-art bag from the gallery zone B. Plain paper bags hold a lot of treasures: in these bags is art ! Prints, photographs, paintings - What's in it, experiencing only the one who gets the gift bag or acquires for himself.

The gallery has been able to win 11 artists for this unusual action: Gosbert Adler, Eva Bertram, Antje Dorn, Marc Grümmert, Thomas Kemper, Klaus Küster, Knut Wolfgang Maron, Oliver Scharfbier, Kerstin Schiefner, Kenneth van Sickle, Janet Zeugner

zone B participates in the presentation "ART FROM BERLIN" at the Contemporary Istanbul.

We show two blocks of works: “luminoplastischen Reliefs” photographies without a camera and photographic sculptures.

With Peruşan Baba zone B shows current photo-based work dealing with the recovery of the lost aura.

Marc Grümmert and Knut Wolfgang Maron working with experimental, subjective, transcending photographic interpretations of reality.

Reni Spoelstra shows a large charcoal drawing of a real imaginary landscape. The dialogue between drawing and photography makes it clear that the interpretation of the artists more concerned with content and less about the technique in which the works were created.

zone B is taking part in the joint presentation "ART FROM BERLIN" and shows Antje Dorns Motorgirls. You will find us in the DM-Arena, Booth L03.6

This is the third solo exhibition by the Cologne painter in our galleries context.

2007 we showed new works on Plexiglas in the zone B and 2008 works on aluminum from the years 1995-98 in the zone E. This time we'll show both groups of works in relation.
